In Ibiza you will find five types of licenses:<\/p>\n
Individual\u00a0<\/strong>(from land or boat, for people over 14 years of age.) It costs about 13.60 euros and license lasts two years.<\/p>\n Collective\u00a0<\/strong>(from 6th boat list, for a maximum of 12 people). It has a cost of 400.08 euros. Valid for one year.<\/p>\n Underwater or spearfishing\u00a0<\/strong>(for over 16 years in possession of federative license). It has a cost of 15,98 euros. Valid for one year.<\/p>\n Sports\u00a0<\/strong>(to participate in official competitions and training). Valid for one year.<\/p>\n From boat\u00a0<\/strong>(for boats of 7th list and a maximum of five people). For boats of less than six meters long, it costs 32.10 euros and 59.04 euros for the rest. Children under fourteen do not need any license for individual or boat fishing, but remember that the Ibizan coast is usually very steep, and although the Mediterranean is a peaceful sea, it is not without danger.<\/p>\n To acquire a fishing license you will need:<\/p>\n -The photocopy of the ID or passport, or the expired license in case of renewal.<\/p>\n -The receipt of the fee payment.<\/p>\n -The forms can be obtained in the same Balearic Government.<\/p>\n For the underwater and sport fishing license you must present the federative license. The sports license is free. Underwater fishing for the Balearic Islands must be obtained at an accredited center. The boat license needs the certified photocopy of the updated navigation license\/role and photocopy of the owner’s ID or passport.
